Author Topic: Custom preview in SP  (Read 416 times)

Hi, I have a question about custom preview for filter in substance painter. I created a filter in designer and published into painter. Then in the painter, I set a custom preview for this filter. But I share this filter to others, they import into painter and they cannot see the preview, how should I solve this problem?

The custom preview is saved inside a metadata file, next to the file in the shelf. It's an hidden folder named ".metadata", inside this folder you will find a new file named like the original, but it's actually the thumbnails (+ other info).
You have to provide both to be sure to share your custom preview to others.
Don't forget your log file. It can be exported from the Help menu of the software.

Thanks Froyok, it works!
