Author Topic: UV Re-projection question  (Read 63 times)

I've been interested in Substance Painter's UV re-projection capabilities, because I'd like to consolidate several texture sets on a character into the 0 to 1 space. However, the maps were created previously in another application. Is it possible to re-project them into a new UV configuration in Substance? At first glance, it appears that re-projection in Substance only extends to paint strokes, not fill layers, which makes sense... Is it possible to "bake" a fill layer to a paint layer?

At the moment it's not possible.
It is a huge task, they working on it. :)
