Author Topic: Re-projecting on new UVs after painting in UV alignment.  (Read 140 times)

Is there a trick to re-projecting UVs when certain elements have been painted in UV Alignment? I have no trouble as long as I have done all the work in Tangent Wrap, but anything painted with UV Alignment projects to the same point where the original UVs were located.

Unfortunately there is no way to reproject this data since it was paited in UV space in the first place so Painter doesn't know where to reproject it in 3D space.

Thanks, Jeremie. Am I to assume that as long as I stay in tangent space, I should be able to re-project?

Yes as long as you paint in the 3D view.
