Author Topic: Bug with createLinkedResource  (Read 86 times)

Wasn't sure where to post bugs so I figured here might be good?

The createLinkedResource command overwrites the existing resource if using the same lowPoly input as an existing linkedResource, even if the aIdentifier arg is different. Copying and pasting the resource from within designer to create a duplicate is allowed.

aSbsDoc.createLinkedResource(aIdentifier="aResource01", aResourcePath=lowPoly_path, aResourceTypeEnum=sbsenum.ResourceTypeEnum.SCENE)

If you were to run this command with a separate Identifier it will still overwrite the first instance of it. Using a duplicate low poly mesh with a different named file works as expected.
